US Aircraft manufacturer Boeing has opened a research and training center inside "SKOLKOVO" as part of the Startup Village initiative. According to the news, Boeing specialists will collaborate with Russian scientists to undertake projects in the field of civil aviation.
The training center will install full flight simulators Next-Generation 737 and 777 for the training of airport staff, according to the news from Izvestia. The international team will reportedly develop digital solutions for automating safety, and aircraft control. Boeing experts project, that over the next 20 years Russia and the CIS will require 20 thousand 22 thousand pilots and technical experts on aircraft maintenance.
