Totalitarian Tolerance and the New God

Babylon by Michael Hutter
Babylon by Michael Hutter

While liberal globalization together with capitalism continue to rapidly escalate, taking over the planet, religious thinking is being pushed on to the sidewalk of social life. Trapped by two leading forces — a predominant liberal European set of values, and the pall effects of terrorist Islamic organizations—Christianity is at risk of extinction everywhere but behind closed church doors.

The process of cultural globalization, where the same set of values are being imposed on everyone, has raised many complicated issues, which are equally bothering the Vatican City and the Orthodox Russia.

"Behold, I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie--I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and make them know that I have loved you." --- Revelation 3:9 ---

A gateway into real radical ideals - HR Giger's vision

Radical Extremism

According to a sociological investigation held by Barna Group, almost half of American agnostics associate Christianity with radical extremism. What this growing group sees as "extremist", is the position of the Roman Catholic Church, endorsed by the Orthodox Church, on the matter of legalization of same sex marriages, after the Supreme Court of the US ruled in favor of a constitutional right to same sex marriage. This perfectly normal counter commentary by the two major branches of Christianity, was openly celebrated as a triumph over religious values by those of faith. Conversely, agnostics and the special interests in America seized on the opportunity for greater benefit. It is not surprising that recent studies have shown that twice as many Americans in 2014 said they did not believe in God as in 1980 - and that five times as many in 2014 said they never prayed. It is no great revelation that Millennials in particular account for the dramatic change in public opinion.

However, the acceptance of the civil right of homosexuals to form a family did not satisfy the desire of the ruling elite for “freedom”. The initiative of same sex marriage, pushed and supported by Rabbi Margaret Moers Wenig, Rabbi Yoel Kahn and Rabbi Steven Greenberg since 1990, had them advocating that same sex marriage should eventually become more than just a civil right. These advocates and evangelists want their morality turned into a consistent religious belief, and they know full well the defeating purpose of ideological schisms. Even chaos is an ally.

Such claims could not expect to be met with favor at the Vatican. In his interview to the Italian Corriere della Sera, Pope Francis reminded the liberal world of the definition of the family. Or at least what it should be under the scriptures in the hearts of the faithful.

“Family is a union of two people of different sex, who united themselves with a purpose to give life to children. But today the institute of family is tormented and abhorred, but it is essential for the continuation of life, for the future of humanity.”

For the United States of America, where the words “mother” and “father” are at risk of disappearing from the English language, we find a clinician's dogma, where the maternity and paternity are substituted by “parent number one” and “parent number two”. The idea is inconceivable for most Christians, and the Vatican’s definition of the family endangers the shaky grounds of their morals. Meanwhile,. while liberal minds of modern America define the Church as “masquerading as a religion” for radically opposing homosexuality, fighters for such ungodly freedoms tear off their crosses and curse religion, for not conniving with man in his selfish desire to legalize his right to fornicate.

And Jesus wept

Modern society, ashamed to call sin by its name, has even invented a new term, a rhetorical fig leaf to hide behind. The right to be sinful is now elegantly defined as “human rights”, where religion comes as a massively inconvenient obstacle, whose function to remind people of their own imperfect nature, has outlived itself. To the world that has cultivated the idea of man as God, this is indeed the real radical extremism.

New Global Religion: The Dictatorship of Tolerance

Christians all over the world seem to be losing a battle for spirituality every day, with no chance to defend themselves from constant attacks or injustice. All attempts to express a discontent with the core values of globalization are silenced and withheld. As an example of such, the British government has recently sustained the ban of clerks and clergymen to wear a cross around their neck. And as shocking as this is, the news of the Draconian law didn’t seem to make it to the front pages. Even such an offensive breach of one of the core values of a democratic society – that of freedom of religious expression - is unprotected from this new form of paganism.

What is being so vehemently preached to us as “freedom”, is in reality nothing more than a new form of dictatorship. It is the dictatorship of tolerance, where the only group void of rights, are heterosexual Christians, and even those who cling to the notion of traditional roles.

The true meaning of freedom and justice, is far moved  from the legislated and coerced demand for the acceptance of homosexuality. The world has forgotten that freedom constitutes defending the weak, the poor, the old and the impotent. Freedom, despite its alluring nature, does not involve unilateral thinking, a common-for-all set of rules, where everyone feels an obligation to stick to the same beliefs. In the way Europe is imposing its common set of values on the rest of the world, it remarkably resembles the Soviet society, which Europe itself used to condemn for punishing alternative opinions and views. Now it is adopting the same pattern, only in a vastly more convulsive and evil way. The atheist swell in central Europe, has forced its way onto the world landscape.

It is no coincidence if we draw a parallel with the beginning of the last century, when attempts to destroy faith in God were taken by other severe totalitarian forms of governing, such as Nazism and Communism. Similarly to the “Dictatorship of Tolerance”, both of them called Man with God’s name.

"Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example, in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire" --- Epistle of Jude. 1:7 --- (Alessandro Bavari – SODOM AND GOMORRAH)

While Nazism arose with a premise that the “God-chosen” Aryan race could reign above all, Communism elevated a factory-worker to the theoretical rank of God, and attempted to build a society where Communism itself became a new form of religion. The difference now is, the prognostics of even bestiality have committed an enormous mistake by admitting people’s freedom was confined. The new form of dictatorship has a more studied air and more sophisticated ways of allowing just about everything. Any promiscuity or urge, it is permissible, even welcomed, as long as you preach to its God, the God of money, and the ultimate creator of the new religion. We must pray to man himself.

“You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?" --- Acts 13:10 ---

Having lost our self-identity, our language, culture and religion, we have evolved into an animal rationale, a creature with a sole purpose of serving the God of Gold, a graven idol of self indulgence, and to obedience to the new high priests. And these priests and priestess believe in a religion with no moral guidance. Another study from Pew Research profiles atheistic and agnostic characteristics, one being that their basis for morality is as liberal and nebulous as their transgender legislation.

President Vladimir Putin (L) and Pope Francis (R) meet in July

Brotherhood Restored

Having met with President Vladimir Putin in July of 2015, Pope Francis made the first important step in bridging the gap between Orthodoxy and Catholicism, by once again joining hands with the Orthodox faith. The most significant meeting of the last 1,000 years, was the recent encounter between Pope Francis and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill.  Contrary to Washington’s will, the meeting took place in Cuba, and was reported with great joy as a long-awaited reunification of two brothers. That has obviously been giving much discomfort and uneasiness to the free-thinking liberal press, which immediately threw itself into reporting anything they found to be bad. Anti-Russian propaganda gave the meeting nonexistent political grounds, where Pope Francis was condemned for “supporting” President Putin. Other “reporters” went on with the juicy details of who wore golden crosses and simple shoe wear, and so on. Witnessing the travesty of media, for those of the faith, was a bit like reliving the condemnation of Christ himself. Believers in the Colosseum once more, stabbed and poked at with mighty pens.

A Russian girl prays on Orthodox Easter

What seems to have annoyed those who control western media so much, is a clear trend of the Russian Orthodox Church in its revival, which started in the late 1980s and has been continuing ever since. The Church has been made a reliable consult for the government, which granted it an important role in the society. Religious authority in Russia, seems to be growing with the same pace as the Western religious thinking is dying out. This is a strange paradox, but one clearly enumerated in the scriptures.

"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." -- 1 Corinthians 18-20 --

After the meeting with the head of the Roman Catholic Church, Patriarch Kirill made it clear that Russian Orthodox Church has once again found itself fulfilling its higher purpose by fostering the moral values set by God. And those morals are available to everyone, no matter what religious view they take, he highlighted. They are embedded in our hearts, they are the values that do not adapt themselves to our selfish nature and don’t bend to our will. Simply because they weren’t imposed by a man, they were imposed by God. Unknowingly, the agnostics, atheists, and even Satanists have enumerated the two paths for humanity, the divergent way is now clear.
