Nizhny Novgorod Hosts First International 'QS Worldwide' Conference in Russia

Coming up September 28th through 30th in Nizhny Novgorod, the three day conference QS WORLDWIDE will connect universities in Russian and Central Asia. The event will showcase prominent developments such as the Russian Academic Excellence Project 5-100, which efforts the promotion of regional universities in the overall research and education market worldwide. 

The conference will be made up of some 400 plus participants representing over 100 universities in 35 nations. Aspiring universities will be afforded excellent networking and exchange experiences, while promoting their schools' value proposition to international investors and students. Evgeny Chuprunov (feature image), Rector of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (UNN) had this to say about the upcoming event: 

“It is a great honor and privilege for us to host the first QS-WORLDWIDE Conference&Exhibition in Nizhni Novgorod. It will be the first conference in QS Apple family conducted in Europe. Nizhni Novgorod will be a perfect place for that. It is an old Russian city with a lot of cultural and historical heritage and, at the same time, it is a major industrial center of Russia open to innovation and new ideas.”

Organized by QS Asia Quacquarelli Symonds on behalf of QS Education Trust. and Lobachevsky University , QS WORLDWIDE will also shine a spotlight on that University’s 100th anniversary celebration in February of 2016. The event is scheduled to take place at the Nizhny Novgorod Trade Fair (above).
